The Diploma in Construction Management is structured for those who are interested in entering the construction industry, particularly in the area of Construction Management. Known also as Construction Project Management (CM), the course imparts professional knowledge and skills through specialised project management techniques to help students learn about the full life cycle of a project. This programme emphasises on the planning, design, and construction of a project, and the control of a project's timeline, cost and quality.

This course is compatible with all project delivery systems and provides a comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry.


The Diploma in Construction Management is conducted in the form of classroom lectures, discussions, practical exercises, and coursework assignments.

Exams are conducted at the end of each module.
There are a total of 7 exam modules.


Singapore / PR Students

  • 3 ‘O’ passes including English, or equivalent, Nitec or Higher Nitec

  •  ITE Higher NITEC or GCE 'N' Levels and NITEC with a minimum GPA of 2.75 in a relevant discipline

  • Students who have attempted GCE 'O' Levels but do not meet the specified grade in English may apply to Singa College to take an English test for the college to assess their eligibility for admission

  • Candidates with other academic qualifications and related experiences may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis by the Academic Board, or

  • For mature students of at least 26 years who do not meet the above minimum academic entry requirements but with at least 5 years of working experience in the relevant fields will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Academic Board.  


English Language Requirement

  • Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent


All students are required to have basic knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office

Hardware Requirement

All students are required to own a notebook with the following recommended specifications and software:

  • Intel Core Processor

  • 8 GB RAM

  • 64-bit Windows Operating System

  • Microsoft Office

  • Anti-virus software

Student must fulfil the following requirements:

  1. 75% attendance rate of total training hours per module

  2. A minimum mark of 50% is required to pass each module.



Upon successful completion of all modules within the course, students will be conferred with a Diploma in Construction Management awarded by Singa College of Built Environment.

Full-Time: 5 days per week (6 hours per day)

Weekdays: 10.00am to 5.00pm

Part-Time: 2 days per week (3 hours per day)
Weekdays: 7.00pm to 10.00pm
