The IWFM Level 3 qualifications in facilities management is an entry-level programme designed to assist learners in developing an understanding and knowledge towards facilities management matters. Learners will learn about the fundamentals of the industry and its day-to-day operations and responsibilities. It’s for you if you are a first-line manager or supervisor in facilities management, or if you are new to the industry.

Learners who have successfully completed the Level 3 Diploma are eligible to apply for the Associate IWFM title with IWFM subject to meeting IWFM's qualifying entry criteria.

IWFM MEMBERSHIP

The Level 3 IWFM Diploma in Facilities Management offers a direct membership route to IWFM as an AIWFM (Associate). The Associate membership grade is suitable for individuals at operations level, with at least one year of industry experience.

AIWFM Membership Application

 

There are two routes to join at Associate (AIWFM) grade:

Route A (Non-IWFM Qualification)
- At least two years' workplace and / or facilities experience

Route B (IWFM Qualification)
- A facilities or related qualification at Level 2 or above
- At least one years' workplace and / or facilities experience

COURSE STRUCTURE

The IWFM Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management is conducted in the form of classroom lectures, discussions, practical exercises, and coursework assignments.

10 MODULES

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • 3 ‘O’ level passes including English, or equivalent

English Language Requirement

  • Minimum of C6 for O Levels English.

  • Applying candidates who do not meet the language proficiency will be required to take an English test set by the college for course admission.

Age Requirement

  • The minimum age requirement for this course is 17 years of age.

  2. Corporate social responsibility & sustainability in facilities management

  3. Customer and stakeholder relations in facilities management

  4. Specification and procurement of facilities supplies and services

  5. Health and safety responsibilities in facilities management

  6. Project management within facilities management operations

  7. Manage operational performance in facilities management

  8. Budget management of facilities management operations

  9. Understanding facilities management within the context of an organisation

  10. Building maintenance in facilities management

EXAMINATIONS

Exams are conducted at the end of each module.
There are a total of 10 exam modules.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Student must fulfil the following requirements:

  1. 75% attendance rate of total training hours per module

  2. A minimum mark of 50% is required to pass each module.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE

Upon successful completion of all modules within the course and passing the Final Course Assessment Project, students will be conferred with an IWFM Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management awarded by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).

Full-Time: 5 days per week (3 hours per day)

Weekdays: 2.00pm to 5.00pm

Part-Time: 2 days per week (3 hours per day)
Weekdays: 7.00pm to 10.00pm
