DIPLOMA IN FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
The IWFM Level 4 qualification in facilities management is an intermediate level programme built to give you a broad understanding of the profession and provide the skills needed to complete complex, non-routine tasks within workplace and facilities management. Learners can expect to learn about operational techniques that can help you out in a challenging situation. It’s for you if you work at an operational management level or if you are aspiring to these roles and want to stretch and develop your knowledge and capability.
Learners who have successfully completed the Level 4 Diploma are eligible to apply for the Member IWFM title with IWFM subject to meeting IWFM's qualifying entry criteria.
The Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) is UK's leading chartered organisation for Facilities Management with over 17,000 members internationally. Originally founded as the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM), the organisation changed its name in November 2018 following its attainment of chartered status.
The Level 4 IWFM Diploma in Facilities Management offers a direct membership route to IWFM as a MIWFM (Member). The Member membership grade is suitable for individuals at junior management level, with at least two years of industry management experience.
MIWFM Membership Application
There are two routes to join at Member (MIWFM) grade:
Route A (IWFM Qualification)
- At least two years' managerial experience in workplace and / or facilities
- IWFM Diploma at Level 4 or above OR a facilities or related qualification at Level 4 or above
Route B (Non-IWFM Qualification)
- At least five years workplace and / or facilities experience
- At least three years' managerial experience

The IWFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management is conducted in the form of classroom lectures, discussions, practical exercises, and coursework assignments.
Minimum Entry Requirements
2 ‘A’ levels or IB passes, or equivalent
Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management from Singa College
IWFM Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management
For mature students of at least 30 years who do not meet the above minimum academic entry requirements but with at least 8 years of working experience in the relevant fields will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Academic Board based on working experience relevance and course interest.
English Language Requirement
Minimum of C6 for O Levels English.
Applying candidates who do not meet the language proficiency will be required to take an English test set by the college for course admission.
The minimum age requirement for this course is 19 years of age.

Exams are conducted at the end of each module.
There are a total of 9 exam modules.
Student must fulfil the following requirements:
75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
A minimum mark of 50% is required to pass each module.
Upon successful completion of all modules within the course and passing the Final Course Assessment Project, students will be conferred with an IWFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management awarded by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).
