The IWFM Level 6 qualifications in facilities management is an advanced level programme that is designed to focus on developing strategic skills and knowledge so that you can make and deliver plans that underpin substantial change or development while exercising broad autonomy. Learners will learn on advanced management and planning techniques that can be used in managing facilities of various complexities. It will help you to develop your strategic skills and knowledge and if particularly relevant for learners working in or aspiring to work in a senior position or management role.
Learners who have successfully completed the Level 6 Extended Diploma are eligible to apply for the Certified IWFM title with IWFM subject to meeting IWFM's qualifying entry criteria.

IWFM MEMBERSHIP
The Level 6 IWFM Extended Diploma in Facilities Management offers a direct membership route to IWFM as a CIWFM (Certified). The Certified membership grade is suitable for individuals at Senior management level, with at least five years of industry experience, of which two years are in management roles.




COURSE STRUCTURE
The IWFM Level 6 Extended Diploma in Facilities Management is conducted in the form of classroom lectures, discussions, practical exercises, and coursework assignments.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Any Diploma from Local Polytechnics with 2 years relevant working experience

Any Diploma from BCA Academy with 2 years relevant working experience

Advanced Diploma in Construction from Singa College with 2 years relevant working experience

IWFM Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management with 2 years of relevant working experience or
-
For mature students of at least 30 years of age who do not meet the above minimum academic entry requirements but with at least 10 years of working experience in the relevant fields will be considered for admission based on experience relevance and course interest
English Language Requirement

Minimum of C6 for O Levels English.

Applying candidates who do not meet the language proficiency will be required to take an English test set by the college for course admission.

EXAMINATIONS
Exams are conducted at the end of each module.
There are a total of 9 exam modules.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Student must fulfil the following requirements:

A minimum mark of 50% is required to pass each module.

CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE
Upon successful completion of all modules within the course and passing the Final Course Assessment Project, students will be conferred with an IWFM Level 6 Extended Diploma in Facilities Management awarded by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).

CIWFM Membership Application
There are two routes to join at Certified (CIWFM) grade:
Route A (IWFM Qualification)
- At least three years' workplace and / or facilities experience
- At least two years' managerial experience
- An IWFM Diploma at Level 6 or above
Route B (Non-IWFM Qualification)
- At least three years' workplace and / or facilities experience
- At least two years' managerial experience
- A facilities management or related qualification at Level 6 or above OR Chartered status of a relevant professional body
