The IWFM Level 3 qualifications in facilities management is an entry-level programme designed to assist learners in developing an understanding and knowledge towards facilities management matters. Learners will learn about the fundamentals of the industry and its day-to-day operations and responsibilities. It’s for you if you are a first-line manager or supervisor in facilities management, or if you are new to the industry.
Learners who have successfully completed the Level 3 Diploma are eligible to apply for the Associate IWFM title with IWFM subject to meeting IWFM's qualifying entry criteria.
IWFM Level 4
Diploma in Facilities Management

The IWFM Level 4 qualification in facilities management is an intermediate level programme built to give you a broad understanding of the profession and provide the skills needed to complete complex, non-routine tasks within workplace and facilities management. Learners can expect to learn about operational techniques that can help you out in a challenging situation. It’s for you if you work at an operational management level or if you are aspiring to these roles and want to stretch and develop your knowledge and capability.
Learners who have successfully completed the Level 4 Diploma are eligible to apply for the Member IWFM title with IWFM subject to meeting IWFM's qualifying entry criteria.
IWFM Level 6
Extended Diploma in Facilities Management

The IWFM Level 6 qualifications in facilities management is an advanced level programme that is designed to focus on developing strategic skills and knowledge so that you can make and deliver plans that underpin substantial change or development while exercising broad autonomy. Learners will learn on advanced management and planning techniques that can be used in managing facilities of various complexities. It will help you to develop your strategic skills and knowledge and if particularly relevant for learners working in or aspiring to work in a senior position or management role.
Learners who have successfully completed the Level 6 Extended Diploma are eligible to apply for the Certitied IWFM title with IWFM subject to meeting IWFM's qualifying entry criteria.
SPECIALTY - FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Facilities Management is a profession that offers multiple services ranging from building maintenance, operations, fire safety, security, EHS (environment, health and safety), cleaning and sustainability in buildings. In more layman terms, Facilities Management is a professional discipline that ensures smooth functioning of a ‘built environment’ every single day.
At the highest level, Facilities Management includes two major disciplines - hard and soft services. Hard services relate to any physical alterations in the building or its infrastructure. Common examples for hard services include fire safety, electrical systems, central air conditioning, and other mechanical services.
Soft services, on the other hand, are responsible to make the workplace more secure and pleasant for the people -employees or tenants- within the buildings. This includes landscaping, event support, cleaning services, cafeteria and pantry support, pest control, parking management, procurement of vendors, energy support, and much more.
